This policy reflects my commitment to Radical Transparency and treating your data as sacred. I believe you deserve to know exactly what happens with your information—no fine print tricks, no hidden practices.
The Short Version
By installing or using Structa Metaobject Editor, you consent to:
- The collection of your store URL and staff information for app functionality
- Anonymous analytics on metaobject definitions to improve the service
- Receiving app-related communications via your staff email (you can opt out anytime)
- The terms and conditions outlined below
What I don't store: Your orders, customers, products, inventory, metaobject entries, or any other store data. Your metaobject data is never stored on my servers—it's proxied securely to Shopify's API where it lives.

1. Introduction
I built Structa Metaobject Editor to solve a real problem—bulk editing metaobjects shouldn't take hours. This Privacy Policy explains exactly how I collect, use, and protect your information. Following my principle of Education, Not Mystification, I've written this in plain language.
2. Information I Collect
In keeping with my commitment to transparency, here's exactly what I collect:
- Registration Data: Your Shopify store URL and access tokens required to connect the app.
- User Data: Email and name of staff members for authentication and app-related communications. You can request to stop receiving communications at any time.
- Definition Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data about which metaobject field types are commonly used—this helps me prioritize improvements.
- Technical Data: Performance metrics and usage patterns to keep the app running smoothly.
3. What I Don't Store
Honoring my principle that IP Is Sacred, I do NOT store any of your sensitive store data on my servers:
- Orders, customers, products, or inventory
- Metaobject entries or their content
- Payment or financial information
- Any other Shopify store data
All your data passes through my secure servers and is read from and written directly to Shopify via their API. Your store data is never stored on my infrastructure—it's proxied to Shopify where it belongs.
4. How I Use Your Information
I only use your information for legitimate purposes directly related to providing you with a great experience:
- Providing and maintaining the bulk editing service
- Authenticating your access to the app
- Responding to your support requests
- Improving app performance and features
- Complying with legal obligations
5. Third-Party Services
I integrate with the following services to operate the app:
- Shopify: Authentication, Admin API, and billing
- Hosting providers: Secure servers and database
- Analytics services: Anonymous usage tracking
6. Data Security
I take security seriously and implement:
- Encrypted storage for all sensitive data
- HTTPS for all data transmission
- Secure token handling following Shopify's best practices
Data may be transferred to servers outside your country. While no system is 100% secure, I continuously work to protect your information.

1. The Service
Structa Metaobject Editor provides spreadsheet-style bulk editing for Shopify metaobjects via Shopify's APIs. It's designed to save you time and reduce errors when managing large amounts of metaobject data.
2. Subscriptions & Payment
All payments are processed through Shopify's billing system. Prices may change with reasonable notice. You can cancel anytime via your Shopify admin—no hoops to jump through.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Use the app lawfully and in accordance with Shopify's Terms
- Maintain the security of your credentials
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the service
4. Intellectual Property
The app and its original content are my property. You receive a limited license to use it while subscribed. I can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, but I work hard to maintain reliable service.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. While I strive for excellence, use is at your own risk. I recommend testing bulk edits on non-critical data first.
6. Limitation of Liability
I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. I'm not responsible for business disruption that may result from bulk editing operations—always review your changes before saving.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate anytime. Simply uninstall the app to end your subscription. I may terminate access if these terms are violated.
8. General
These terms may be updated; continued use means acceptance of changes. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Governed by the laws of Surat, Gujarat, India.
